SECTION 1 - CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Automated Membership Renewal
Upon joining Club Vivanova, your credit card will be charged €120. As long as your membership is current, the same card will be automatically charged without notice every 365 days after the date of joining as per the agreement when joining the club, "Club Vivanova membership runs for one year from the date of joining and is automatically renewed by payment through your registered credit card unless written notice is received". You may cancel your membership plan at any time by emailing our administration at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Complimentary Wine Box
As a new and recurring member, you will receive a box of three wines of your colour choice. We deliver these wines free to you with DHL anywhere in the EU with duty and taxes pre-paid. If DHL cannot deliver to you directly (for example there is no one to receive the goods), we will contact you with an address and you have seven days to pick-up the box from the DHL partner. If you do not pick-up the wines in this time, DHL returns the wines to the local customs office, where they are destroyed. We do not send out the wines a second time.
Complimentary Member Events
Guest lists for our complimentary member events are managed by the event partners who invest into the set-up of the event. We endeavour to please everyone who RSVPs with an invitation, however the final guest list is always filtered by the sponsoring event partner with a view to how many people and who they would like to attend. We reserve the right to limit ticketing if required and membership rights are non-transferable to a third-party.
Event No Show Fees
In the event that tickets are not paid in advance, we enforce a strict no-show policy on all event bookings confirmed in email when you book. There is always a cut-off date noted for cancellation. We reserve the right to charge a full no-show fee for the total ticketing price applied per ticket reserved if you do not cancel before the cancellation date or send someone in my place to fulfil the booking that you have made.
Right to Refuse Membership & Event Entry
After membership payment has been processed, we approve memberships within 24 hours. We reserve the right to refuse membership and return the membership fee should we find that the membership adversely affects the reputation of the club or its members. Club Vivanova reserves the right to deny entry to an event to any person whose behaviour might adversely affect the event itself, the attendees or the reputation of the club (ticket fees if paid in advance will be refunded accordingly).
SECTION 2 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
In compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation enforced on 25th May 2018, Club Vivanova agrees not to share your personal information and we will keep your personal information secure.
SECTION 3 - CONSENT
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
You may at any time withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information by contacting us by email at email@example.com. You may also unsubscribe from our mailing services by following the "unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of each of our email invitation communications.
SECTION 4 - DISCLOSURE
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 5 - PAYMENT PLATFORMS (Tickets and Membership)
Our event ticket sales and membership renewals are hosted on Stripe and Moonclerk. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through the Stripe and Moonclerk secure data storage systems, databases and the general Stripe and Moonclerk applications. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Event Ticket Payment (Stripe)
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Stripe stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
Membership Fee Payment, Renewal and Membership Cancellation (Moonclerk)
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your membership application, then Moonclerk stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored as long as your membership is current and automatically charged without notice every 365 days after the date of joining. As per the agreement when joining the club, "Club Vivanova membership runs for one year from the date of joining and is automatically renewed by payment through your registered credit card unless written notice is received". You may cancel your membership plan at any time by emailing our administration at firstname.lastname@example.org. After cancellation, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
SECTION 6 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
SECTION 7 - SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
