NORGE MINERALER

Critical resource security

Norge Mineraler is developing a new integrated value chain for responsibly produced EU Critical Raw Materials (CRMs) phosphate, vanadium and titanium, from our world-class resource in Norway.

Global mega trend backdrop

Our CRMs are required by industries and governments seeking to assure supply security and achieve carbon net zero through the energy transition. And we are developing highly competitive, high purity products with low to zero contaminants.

Energising end markets

Phosphate is widely used in agriculture, including in fertilisers for plant and food production – increasing crop yields and helping fight hunger worldwide. It’s also a key component in battery production – such as Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology – as the world moves away from fossil fuels towards renewable energy.

Vanadium is becoming increasingly valuable in the production of ‘green’ infrastructure. Malleable and supple – yet incredibly durable – it’s a strengthening mechanism in steel production. It’s also increasingly used in emerging battery technologies, such as redox flow (VRFBs), which have extraordinary renewable energy storage capabilities.

Titanium is stronger and lighter than steel, making it an ideal component in structures that need robustness, such as in aviation and defence. Titanium is also a product our bodies can tolerate and is needed for medical applications, such as prosthetics.

Clean energy transition

Global green ambitions can only be met with reduced dependence on vulnerable supply chains - to achieve environmental and social sustainability objectives. Our CRMs are vital for products that support decarbonisation; they’re also sourced and produced to the highest international ESG standards.

In the words of our Chairman, John Vergopoulos:

Our operations will usher in a new era of considerate exploration and sourcing, in collaboration and communication with local, national and international partners.”

Untapped deposits

We are privileged that our untapped mineral deposits are in Norway - politically and economically one of the most stable and developed countries in the world, with a solid history of transforming resources into real and financial assets.

An unprecedented opportunity

A pre-feasibility study will be completed later in 2024 with plans for fully electrified operations and vertically integrated processing.

We have offices in Egersund and Oslo and our Anglo-Norwegian parent company, Norge Mining Limited is made up of industry stalwarts, technology enablers and business growth experts.

If you’d like to hear more about this unprecedented opportunity or discuss partnership opportunities, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
