“I came across Mitton International Wines and Club Vivanova for the first time while organizing a wine tasting event for the Young Professionals in Yachting Monaco association at the Yacht Club de Monaco. Having heard whispers about Club Vivanova’s success from existing members, I thought it might be a good idea to try the club in a joint-event with our young social yachting members and what a success it was! The evening began with a wonderful presentation of selected and fine New World wines by wine connoisseur-extraordinaire himself, Bradley Mitton. As the evening progressed, needless to say new friends were made and a deeper knowledge of oenology was gained. “I joined the event in Cannes after being part of many of the Monaco events. The hotel kindly offered a good rate to stay the night so no need to be concerned about driving after all the wine…and the hotel room was magnificent. From the welcome Champagne at the bar to the Shiraz that accompanied dessert all the wines were fabulous and so was the food. Both accompanied by very attentive service. Difficult to pick a highlight as it would be impossible to choose between the crab cake, green asparagus, scallop with lobster bisque and the magnificent very chocolate dessert. All combined with unexpected but perfect wine choices.”

The event was hosted by Bradley Mitton, who provided excellent insight into and history of all of the wines that we tried.
