Self-taught and driven by a fascination with identity, femininity and transformation, Vicky-May has developed a distinctive artistic language combining realistic portraiture, vibrant colours and bold graphic compositions. Her work balances glamour with psychological depth, creating powerful female figures whose expressions reveal as much as they conceal. Each collection explores a different dimension of the human experience.
In Duality & Reflection, she examines the contradictions, complexities and transformations that shape identity. Threshold explores defining moments of change, where geometric structures and expressive portraits meet in a striking dialogue between control and freedom.
Her latest collection, Imprints, introduces a new dimension to her artistic universe. Glamorous female boxers, commanding gazes and sculptural gloves bearing unapologetic statements create portraits of women who have moved beyond seeking approval. Their words are no longer affirmations or promises, but declarations of who they have become.
Vicky-May’s artistic journey has established a growing presence in Monaco, including a solo exhibition at Le Quai des Artistes, an exhibition at the Princess Grace Hospital and participation in the 9th Soirée du Cœur charity gala at the Yacht Club de Monaco. Through her work, she invites viewers to look beyond appearances and discover the individuality, contradictions and quiet strength beneath the surface.
