Fight Aids Monaco: The Human Purpose Behind the 2026 Royal Charity Gala

On Saturday 28th November 2026, Club Vivanova’s international community will gather at the Fairmont Monte Carlo for an exceptional evening under the High Patronage and Presence of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco — supporting causes whose work reaches far beyond the glamour of the Principality.

Behind the elegance of Monaco’s 2026 Royal Charity Gala lies a very human purpose.
For more than two decades, Fight Aids Monaco has provided listening, care, guidance and dignity to people living with HIV, while working tirelessly to improve prevention, awareness and understanding.

Founded in 2004 by H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, the association has become an important force in Monaco’s response to HIV and one of the two charitable beneficiaries at the heart of this year’s Club Vivanova Royal Charity Gala.

On Saturday 28th November 2026, our international community will come together at the Fairmont Monte Carlo not simply for one of Monaco’s exceptional social occasions, but to help support work that continues every day of the year.

More Than 20 Years of Commitment

Fight Aids Monaco was created from a determination to confront HIV without judgement and to ensure that people affected by the virus could find support, respect and a place where they would be heard. Its work combines prevention, screening, education and direct support for people living with HIV.

Within Monaco and the surrounding region, the association organises awareness initiatives and free, anonymous HIV screening, helping encourage testing while continuing to challenge the stigma that can still surround HIV.

But behind the programmes and statistics are individuals. People who need someone to listen. People who need practical help. People who may simply need to know that they are not facing their situation alone. That human connection remains fundamental to the association’s work.

La Maison de Vie: A Place to Live Again

One of Fight Aids Monaco’s most remarkable initiatives is La Maison de Vie. Created as a peaceful temporary retreat for people living with HIV, it offers something that cannot easily be measured: time and space away from the pressures of everyday life.

Guests are able to rest, reconnect and participate in activities designed around wellbeing, creativity and rebuilding confidence. The atmosphere reflected in these images tells its own story — people together, sharing experiences, creating, cooking, laughing and rediscovering a sense of community.

It represents an important part of Fight Aids Monaco’s philosophy: supporting the person, not simply addressing the illness.

From Monaco to International Communities

The organisation’s commitment also extends well beyond the Principality. Fight Aids Monaco supports international projects in Madagascar, Mauritius, Burundi and South Africa, bringing assistance to communities where the consequences of HIV can be compounded by poverty and limited access to resources.

These international programmes demonstrate how an organisation born in Monaco can generate impact thousands of kilometres beyond its borders. The geography may change, but the principle remains the same: dignity, prevention, care and human connection.

An Evening With a Greater Purpose

This is why charity has always been central to the Club Vivanova Royal Charity Gala. The Gala brings together an extraordinary international community of business leaders, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, partners and friends for an evening of fine dining, entertainment and celebration. But its significance is ultimately determined by what that community can achieve together.

The 2026 Royal Charity Gala will take place on Saturday 28 November at the Fairmont Monte Carlo, under the High Patronage and Presence of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. Fight Aids Monaco will once again stand at the heart of the evening as one of our two benefiting charities, alongside Écoute Cancer Réconfort.

Through the Gala, charity auction and generosity of our guests and partners, our objective is simple: to turn an exceptional evening into meaningful support for exceptional work.

Join Us in Monaco

There are many reasons to attend the Royal Charity Gala. The magnificent setting. The international guest list. The gastronomy. The entertainment. The glamour of Monaco. This year, however, we want our guests to understand something more.

Behind the Gala are real people, real lives and organisations working throughout the year to make those lives better. Fight Aids Monaco is one of them.

On 28th November 2026, we invite our community to celebrate with us, support with us and help us make this year's Royal Charity Gala one of our most successful yet.
