12 Years and Still Going Strong - The Father and Son Team Behind the Club Vivanova Gala

At the heart of the Club Vivanova Gala is a father-and-son team. Monaco resident and Club Vivanova Founder Bradley Mitton has developed the event over the past 12 editions alongside his son, Jackson Mitton, combining family commitment, international business networking and philanthropy to create one of Club Vivanova’s most established annual occasions.

From an Idea to a Monaco Tradition

What began as an ambitious concept has developed into an annual black-tie gathering that brings together entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, luxury professionals, philanthropists and international guests in Monaco.

Hosted at the Fairmont Monte Carlo, the Gala has evolved year after year while retaining the principles on which it was founded: bring interesting people together, create meaningful connections, deliver an exceptional evening and use the occasion to give something back. For Bradley and Jackson, the Gala has also become a family project.

Behind the Champagne receptions, international wines, gourmet dinners, live entertainment, fashion presentations and charity auctions are months of preparation, relationship-building and coordination with partners, charities, donors, artists, hotels and guests. The result is an event that has become an important part of the wider Club Vivanova story.

More Than €425,000 Raised for Charity

Philanthropy has always been at the centre of the Gala. Through the generosity of guests, partners, sponsors and auction donors, Club Vivanova Gala events have now raised more than €425,000 for charitable organisations.

Club Vivanova's own historical records document support over the years for the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, Fight Aids Monaco, Écoute Cancer Réconfort, Chances for Children Foundation, TAF – The Animal Fund, Borneo Wildlife Preservation and Mimosa. The causes have ranged from supporting children and people affected by serious illness to protecting wildlife, restoring rainforest and addressing environmental challenges.

The financial impact has grown alongside the Gala itself. The 2020 edition alone raised more than €30,000 for Chances for Children Foundation and TAF – The Animal Fund, while the 2024 Gala raised €35,000 plus additional private donations for Fight Aids Monaco and Écoute Cancer Réconfort.

For Bradley, this remains one of the most important measures of the Gala's success.

“We only achieve great things in life by giving back. The Gala allows us to appreciate some of the best things in life whilst giving our guests, members and partners the opportunity to support worthy and life-changing causes.”

Building Relationships Beyond the Ballroom

The Gala has never been designed simply as a formal dinner. One of Club Vivanova's defining strengths is its ability to place people from different industries, countries and backgrounds in the same room and create the conditions for relationships to develop naturally.

Corporate executives sit alongside entrepreneurs. Investors meet business owners. Luxury brands connect with potential clients and partners. Monaco residents meet international visitors who may return year after year. Those connections frequently continue long after the evening itself.

This combination of business networking, hospitality and philanthropy has become central to the Club Vivanova model.

Twelve Editions of Evolution

Each Gala has brought another stage in the event's development. The early editions supported organisations including the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, with Club Vivanova presenting a €10,000 donation representing funds raised in 2015. By 2018 the Gala was supporting the Foundation alongside Chances for Children and TAF – The Animal Fund.

The seventh edition in 2021 supported Chances for Children, Borneo Wildlife Preservation and Mimosa, while the 2023 Gala benefited Écoute Cancer Réconfort and Borneo Wildlife Preservation. More recently, the focus has included Fight Aids Monaco and Écoute Cancer Réconfort, with the Gala taking place under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. Club Vivanova

The format has evolved too: larger productions, stronger entertainment, international wines, fashion presentations, increasingly sophisticated charity auctions and a growing network of partners. Yet the purpose remains remarkably consistent. Connect people. Create memorable experiences. Give back.

A Father-and-Son Partnership

For Bradley and Jackson, working together has become part of that evolution. Bradley has built Club Vivanova's network and relationships over more than two decades, while Jackson has become increasingly involved in helping deliver events, manage the Gala and support the operational side of the organisation.

There is an inevitable difference between generations, but that is part of the strength of the partnership. Bradley's long-standing relationships and experience combine with Jackson's energy and different perspective, while both share responsibility for ensuring that hundreds of moving parts come together on one night.

And when the ballroom fills, the lights come up and the first guests arrive, there is a particular satisfaction in seeing months of work become reality.

Turning Luxury Into Charity

One of the Gala's most recognisable elements has become its charity auction. Luxury travel, hospitality, gastronomy, art, wine, fashion and exclusive experiences are donated by Club Vivanova's international network and transformed into direct support for the selected charities. It is an idea Bradley describes simply as “Turning Luxury Into Charity.”

The 2026 Gala continues that philosophy, with 100% of funds raised through the Royal Charity Auction being donated directly to the two beneficiary charities and divided equally between them.

The auction is also one of the moments when the father-and-son partnership is most visible, with Bradley and Jackson working together as guests compete for lots and the fundraising total climbs.

The Atmosphere Matters

The Gala's charitable purpose is serious, but the evening itself is designed to celebrate life. Music, fashion, food, Champagne, wine and entertainment all contribute to an atmosphere where people relax, interact and enjoy themselves. That balance is deliberate.

Club Vivanova's philosophy has always been that giving back does not need to happen in a sombre environment. Creating a spectacular evening encourages participation, generosity and engagement.

It will be another important milestone in a story that has now spanned 12 editions, hundreds of partners, thousands of guests and more than €425,000 raised for charity.

But behind the scale of the event remains something refreshingly simple:

A father and son, working together to bring people together. Twelve years and still going strong.
