Agarwood Eco Capital: A Two-Year Tree Reserve Investment Opportunity

Agarwood Eco Capital: A Two-Year Tree Reserve Investment Opportunity

This project is based on a small stand of wild agarwood trees in South Thailand, estimated to be 20–25 years old. These are not plantation trees, but naturally occurring wild stock producing resin over time.

The trees are already in the process of natural resin formation and are expected to be ready for harvest in approximately two years, followed by distillation and a further curing period of around six months.

Distillation will be carried out by Al Hashimi, ensuring a single, traceable production process from harvest through to final oil. No blending across sources or third-party aggregation is intended within this batch.

Each reservation corresponds to the estimated yield of one mature tree, approximately 36 grams (around three tolas) of oud oil.

The pricing structure is as follows:
Reservation cost: $750 per tree
Expected equivalent value (based on current reference pricing): approximately $5,400 for 36g at prevailing distilled oil rates

As with all oud, final quality and market value will only be fully known at the point of distillation and aging. The intention is for the oil to be aged post-distillation before release or distribution.

At maturity, participants may choose one of the following options:
Take delivery of the distilled oil
Or sell the allocation back for $1,200 per tree at time of distillation

This is a forward allocation tied to a specific harvest cycle. Timing to completion is estimated at roughly 2.5–3 years. Availability is limited to the current stand.
